What brush do you all use... I never brush Hannah I only comb her with a flea comb. I think that if I brushed her that her coat would shine....Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... |
i got this great brush from cc christensen, was expensive , but worth it. lexi loves to get her hair brushed, i like using it too... gold series brush... go check out their website.. |

brush All Systems... |
I use the same brush on Bailey and Tia. its the only brush they let me use without a fight. |
Chris Christensen gold series pin brush...the smallest one |
what is the difference in a pin brush and natural bristle brush? Which one will give me the best shine results? |
I use a CC buttercomb and a Mason Pearson Boar brush on Jaden and Jewelina. I've never seen anything give him the shine that the Pearson has. We just ordered the CC gold series pin brush. I'll let you know how it works. |

I use a slicker brush I got at Petco |
I just ordered the CC gold series pin brush I will let you know if it works on Cali. |
The CC brushes, hands down! Either the Gold Series or the Fusion. Their combs are great, too. |
i have the gold pin brush and i can say im not really impressed with it on morgan's coat. i don't feel like it gets down to the root of the hair to get knots out. Morgan has a soft cottony coat and not the typical silk coat so that's probably why it doesn't work as well. Her hair is also 2 1/2 inches long at this point. i have better luck with a flea comb and a comb with slightly wider teeth. :) |
I always comb out the coat first with a fine toothed comb then use a boar hair brush to add sheen. The slicker brushes tend to cause static or hurt -have u tried these on your hair? OUCH |
1 Attachment(s) I prefer a metal comb. I feel like I have more control. I never use my brushes anymore. I found some that were a really good price so I bought a bunch thinking I would make them available to my new puppy owners. But since we have not had any luck yet getting puppies and due to lack of space I would be willing to sell some if anyone is interested. They are only $4.00 each and that includes first class shipping (USA). They are stainless steel, 6 inches long with half of the comb having 11 teeth per inch and the other half having 7 teeth per inch. It works really well for using the wider spaced side for the first comb through then the finer teeth for a finishing touch and to make sure you got it all. |
