staying still for a cut Anyone know how to keep my little girl still when she's on the grooming table? she totally wants to jump!! She knows how to sit, but she gets too excited and doesn't stay still... I also want to groom her myself, and not sure if i have to use clippers or regular scissors or both... any suggestions would be great! |
nothing? no suggestions? :( |
I use the Wahl Peanut shaver and a pair of hair scissors. I bought a small leash/noose with a suction cup at the end (sorry, not sure what it's called) but I attach it to the wall on my counter and groom them on a towel and bathe them in the sink. It keeps them still and I don't have to worry that if I turn away for a sec that they'll fall off the counter:) |
that's a great idea (the suction cup thingy) where can i get one?? I've never seen that before!! |
I think I got it from dog.com and I know I just saw a thread that said they have terrible customer service:( Maybe go on their site and 'look' at it so you can see who else carries it. If you can't figure out which one it is, PM me and when I get to work I'll try to figure out exactly what it's called. |
found a site that has it... this is in the USA http://www.proguardpets.com/proguard...wash-noose.php In Canada (Oakville, Ontario) http://www.renspets.com Thank you so much for your help!! I really love this site.. :D |
Oh good, glad you found it and hope it helps:) |
