Plush Puppy Chloe is have a little trouble matting around her back legs and bottom. She is almost 5 months old and never had a trim. Should I take her to the groomer to get the puppy stuff off? I really wanted her coat to grow, but are yorkies like people and need their ends trimmed? Would it make her coat more managable? Also, I'm having trouble deciding what to order from Plush Puppy. I'm looking at the Seabreeze Oil, Swishy Coat, and Blow Dry Cream. I'm using Ice on Ice right now and it does ok, but not really the lay down I'm looking for in her coat. Anybody? What do you guys use from Plush Puppy? TIA Heather and Chloe |
I use the SEA BREEZE AND LOVE it on Chanels hair - I'm on my 2nd bottle. She's soft coated and it lays her hair right down. |
I have to agree with V. I have the seabreeze oil too, thanks V for the recommendation!! I love this stuff!! I got one bottle, I have had it for several months now and I use it everyweek on 6 dogs. And I am still nowhere near running out!! It makes the hair shiny and silky and it does make the hair lay down flat. Oh and it also helps with the matting too!! Just make sure you don't use alot. I usually spray about two sprays in my hands and rub them together and then rub my hands all over my dog. I highly recommend this stuff!! I did use the Swishy coat but I really didn't like it. It had a funny smell and it was kinda messy, but maybe that is just me, lol. |
The seabreeze oil is excellent. I love it and hae ordered it several times |
Where do you think it is least expensive to buy, except for Petedge - I'm still mad at them..... |
I dont think its at pet edgge. Here is a link to somewhere you can get it http://www.plushpuppy.net/ |
Hi.....Has anyone used their shine & comb from plush puppy ??????? Wow...it is expensive !!!!!! I will also take other reccomendations for a shiny coat? Thanks |

So, do you think $19.95 is the the least expensive?????? |
Me again - do you think that is the best price around? Is it worth $20.00??? Thanks |
it is to me with Chanel's hair. It's the only product that really moisturises her coat and her hair looks beautiful when I use it - but she has a cottony coat...it doesn't do the same on a silky coat ....you only need a tiny bit edited - it says it can be diluted with water which would make it last longer - I use it straight and wish I had bought the liter size cause I'm on my 2nd bottle |

So....thanks to YOU GUYS :p :p I just went and looked at my bottle and only had about an inch left so I added water - it thickened it a bit but sprayed fine and you can stretch a bottle if you add water to it. |
I love Plush Puppy. I use the Natural Conditioning Shampoo w/ Evening Primrose and Silk Protein Conditioner on Tia and Cali. I use the same conditioner on Codie but a different shampoo ... Herbal Whitening Shampoo (because he's a Maltese). I love the smell of the shampoo and conditioner! :D |
Natural Conditioning Shampoo, Silk Protien Conditioner, Blow Dry Cream & Seabreeze Oil. We have used alot of different Shampoos, Conditioners & Sprays from Petsmart, Petco & Vet's office - NOTHING has worked like this Product. I AM TOTALLY SOLD ON PLUSH PUPPY! |
I tried seabreeze oil and it doesn't work on my boy. His hair is silky and made it greasy looking.........I can't use anything on his coat unless I want to bathe him twice a week. However, it's a miracle on my poodle's coat. No more matts and she is SHINY!!! I highly recommend it for a thick or cottony coat!! |
Forgot to mention.........I have the CC buttercomb and it's definitely worth the price!!!! |

I know what you mean abouth the greasy look. So I mix Seabreeze Oil with water in a spray bottle instead of full strength & it worked better for us. |
Ha! Wouldn't you know it. I ordered the SeaBreeze and they mixed up shipping labels and sent it somewhere else and I got someone else's order..... I will wait a little longer to try it.... :D |
i purchased the seabreeze oil, used it once and haven't used it again. it made morgan's coat greasy. i thought i didn't use that much but i guess i was wrong LOL i put it on after her bath and then had to wash her again. V -- morgan's coat is only about 2 inches long and she's a poofy cotton girl. how much do you think i should use? maybe i should dilute it. |

SeaBreeze oil The long awaited bottle of SeaBreeze finally came. :) Even though I'm not supposed to be using my arm so much yet, I HAD to give Tinka (Miss Cotton of 2007) a bath so I could use it on her. We started with Coat Handler Clarifying shampoo to get rid of all the other goop. Wash, rinse, repeat. Then we washed again with CC Black on Black - I had some left and wanted to see if it made a difference... leave on for 5-10 minutes. Then we used Coat Handler Conditioner and rinsed it out. Then to the grooming table we went and dried her a bit and put some diluted SeaBreeze oil on her and combed her out. This took ALOT of time. She was so patient and good. :) As I dried her a bit more it didn't look much different so I put a tiny bit of the oil on undiluted. There's a chance I put on a bit too much :D but her coat is actually laying down! Her body actually has shape - AND there is some shine to her coat:exclaim: Do you know the money I have spent on products trying to find something that will work at least a little??? My credit card companies sure do.:D I"m so happy that she looks better - I have been trying SO hard.:yay_jump: So, in my humble opinion, months of labor and tons of money and products - I totally recommend Sea Breeze Oil for our cotton babies!!!!! :happyboun |
LOL Oh good !! That's the one thing I can't do without myself....I use it full strength on Chanel...but you only need a little amount or they can look greasy..the good thing is it's water based and comes right out and it seems to absorb into the hair after a day too - |

Thanks - if it wasn't for you I probably wouldn't have tried it! :) |
