Rubber Bands for Top Knots?
 
Hi,

Where do you get rubber bands for putting their hair up? I finally got a girl who will let me put her hair up, but I've got some bows that are barrettes that don't hold without a rubber band. I can't find any little rubber bands here locally.

Hey Whitney, I'm Whitny nice to meet you. Any shop like walmart in the hair section will have them $2 for 300. You can also order them from various members I think www.beyondspoiled.com has them. Hope that helps.

So they are just small rubber bands in the people hair section? I didn't know they would have them small enough, I'll have to take a look next weekend.

You probably want the silicone bands, not plastic.

Scunci makes some, available at most drugstores.

believe it or not i get mine at the dollar store, i have assorted colors
and black ones.... they hold really nice, of course i fix it 3 times a day, but
thats ok with me

I got mine at the dollar store because they had the silcone ones (the ones that don't snag on the hair) I think they were made by Scunci and they are GREAT!! :)

I have to use the cloth covered ones because Little Bit gets her hair so knotted with the other types.:(

I get mine for Bella at Sally's. It is like .69 cents for 300 of them. She is a maltese so I have to get the clear ones.

Google "grooming bands dog" and you will get lots of hits. I can't remember where I ordered mine from.

check out www.carolsbows.com and get 100 grooming bow ribbon *NEON* latex bands for $1.45 including S&H ... they are like the rubber bands used by orthodontists for braces ... .. also I was able to find some at the $ store .... seems I got 1000 for $1.00 .... :smile:
