Made an appointment!! I made an appointment for Lily to get her first grooming.She goes this Friday at 10:30am. I am so nervous, I think I asked the guy a hundred questions. Is there anything you guys recommend for first timers??? I hope she doesn't freak out on them, I am sure she will be scared. I have to leave her for 4 hours, he said most groomers require that, unless I paid an extra fee for a faster grooming. So this will be the longest 4 hours of my life. I am wanting her hair long enough on top to put a bow in but shorter around the face and the rest like a puppy cut I think and her ears clipped of course. If anyone has a picture of your yorkies face and body cut that sounds like this I would love to see it so I could use it as an example when I go. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
1 Attachment(s) hey.. 4 hours... so long i know! layla goes to petsmart and some days it is 3 hours and some days it is only 1.. i'm going to ask next time i go when i can bring her in and it will only be one hour... be prepared for her to be very tired when she gets home and probably a little clingy ... layla is for a few days after. Here is a picture (so sorry i don't know whos dog on here it is.. but i saved it because i just LOVE the cut and want to bring it next time i go to avoid what happened the last time... shaved :( ) |
That is cute. Are the ears clipped on th edog in the picture? Im wondering what ears that are clipped look like. I am afraid Lillys are going to droop if I don't get them clipped. |
4 Attachment(s) We are back, safe and sound. The groomer was great, he did exactly as I asked, and he said Lily did really well for the first time. He trimmed her feet,rear area, ears and face. She is exausted, on my lap as I type. She wouldn't hold still for pictures so these are the best I could get. |
