Help with brushes and combs! What type of brushes and combs seem to work best? Our Wrigley matts terribly, we are using Cowboy Magic and it helps, but not all the way. We are thinking we need to switch brushes. |
grooming I alawys use a pin head brush and metal combs...many good names..All Systems makes good brushes... |

I use the CC brush. It took me forever to justify the cost to myself, but I am so glad that I got it. Sadie hated to be brushed, but since I bought it, she doesn't mind it at all. |
Thank You for the info. Do you use the regular pin brush or the OB pin brush listed on their site? Also they have several types of combs, do you prefer one over the other? What is the CC brush and where do you get that? |

So do ya'll think the pin brush or boar bristle brush is better. I really need to get them a good one and I have looked at her site before, and I just wanted to know what was best for the yorkies hair. Abigail's hair is really silky and Summer's is a mixture betwen silky and cottony I think. Thanks |

Okay thanks. Thats why I wanted to ask bc I have a boar bristle brush at home that I have used on them before, but I didn't really like the way it worked. If it is better than the pin then I think I will order it. Thanks |
I like the CC brushes better also the fusion pin ones. Sassy hated to be brushed before i got it and now she is a very willing perticipient. |
For those of you that bought the CC brushes, do you keep your Yorkie in a long coat? We don't plan on keeping Wrigley long, but we still want to make we are using a really good brush. I just wasn't sure if those brushes are more if they have a show type coat? Thanks! |
I have the CC fusion brush and Sassy is only 4 months old. I would use this brush even if we keep her short because it is so nice. The pins are so soft that i no it feels good on her skin that is why she like to get brushed now. |
Oh great, that's what I was wondering. Do you have the 20mm size? Was there a reason that you picked the Fusion over the gold series? I'm not really sure of the difference. |
yes i have the fusion 20mm oval brush it was recommended to me by the lady i got sassy from and i have not been sorry it is a wonderful brush |
