Wahl's? I have never tried to groom or even trim Diamond on my own but I really want to keep her butt short and near her face. I notice when the hair on her butt is long, she has some clingers :thumbdown  I am scared to death about clipping her near her face just because I do not want to get TOO close to her eyes! I went to a Yorkie party the other weekend and I purchased the Wahl Pocket Trimmer...has anyone seen or heard of this or used it? Here is the link: http://store.ebonyline.com/wa8064500.html The lady at the party showed us how to use it on their ears and it seemed rather easy and my friend also bought it for her Yorkie and she said how easy it is to use. And just recently I ordered the Wahl U Clip but it looks HUGE to me for a Yorkie? Anyone with experience? Here is the link: http://www.dog.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=190112 I got the Wahl U Clip for a decent price so I figured I might as well try it, plus it comes with 12 other pieces and a video. Any tips? If anyone has either of these, I would GREATLY appreciate any feedback/tips   |
i use the pocket trimmer for lexi's bridge of her nose , works very well. you can also use on the butt area too |
I have a Wahl trimmer for Ferdie - it works pretty well. It's great for his little booty. Mine is the size of the U Clip, but I definitely wouldn't use mine near his face. He squirms too much. He's pretty good with the butt trimming though. My only advice is you might need someone to hold Diamond when you trim his butt. That way you can hold up her tail and trim. I trim the rest of his body with my fingers as a guide and scissors. I haven't found a groomer I like, so I just do it myself. Good luck! |

What a great idea! |
I wish we had yorkie parties over here - they have yorkie meet-ups at Muttropolis (designer store for dogs), but no parties. :( Good luck with the grooming! |
