Grrrr..... CLAY!!! Is there an easy way to get modeling clay out of my pup's hair? |
It should come out in a bath. Clay usually will soften with water. |
I had sand burrs to deal with this fall with sunnie and maggie. I finally gave up and used the scissors. It took about 3 months to be able to blend it in so that it doesn't look funny. Is the clay still soft or did it harden? Where is it? Feet, face. I would try water or a maybe a little olive oil on a small spot with my fingers to try and slick it out. Let us know how you get it out. It'll be good to know. |
i heard vegatable oil works great let it sit on it for 24 hours and then bath works for gum and sticky stuff. Clay should come out with soap and water put try the oil if it doesn't |
it kindof dried up a little... I washed it well in her bath and got most of it out with the comb. It sucks because it was on her chin and really ground in, like she got hair in her mouth and tried to eat the clay. I think it's pretty good now, but it took a few days of working at it with a comb. Annabelle hates getting her muzzle combed out  |
I'm glad that you were able to remove most of it. What a mess. They can get into the strangest things. Tophersmom had 2 get into pink hair dye a couple of days ago. |
