I try not to bath him too often but I find myself giving him a bath once a week or every other week. Zoe has oily hair on his head! |
My vet says that a healthy dog is one that is bathed once a week. I say give them one every time they are dirty. Mine get one at least once a week more if I am showing or they get into anything. You just need to use a good shampoo and conditioner. |

I bathe the girls every other week...but living in new england, it get's pretty cold...we heat with wood, which is very drying so, in the winter I would say maybe once a month..I use a good shampoo and conditioner on them and, rinse, rinse, rinse! |
I bath mine once a week. I tried once every 2 weeks but I can't stand when he has doggie smell. |
1 Attachment(s) I bathe Izzy once a week or, and I always use a conditioner. In between washings, I use the puppy wipes to keep him fresh. After peeing all day he gets that pee smell...gross! He has oily hair on his head too. It looks like he dipped into the gel jar way too many times! Here is a recent pic of him after a bath and blow dry...:) |
Every Saturday (once a week). He gets very oily and needs it. |
