dog hair colour? ok let me just say this thread isn't to start a debate or omg how could you please!!! i just want to know if there are safe pet freindly dyes or colours that i could use for haloween on my yorkie to make her pink or maybe purple? yes i know they are beautiful as they are but i think she would look nice coloured for halloween and go trick or treat with us! any ideas /help appreciated no bad words or bashing pretty please! |
I knopw there are dyes that they use on poodles to make them pink etc. So I am guessing there are some out there. Plus I would guess that any of the sprays that are safe for a child would also be safe for pets. |
Ask Kathryn V. She dyed one her yorkies on her head red to go with a devil costume |

ohhh food coloring i may try that good idea!!! do i just put it on her or in the water? im going to msg kathyrn thanks!!! |
My friend use to use kool aid, she would wet it in her hand a little and rub it in her hair. I'm sure that would be safe for your yorkie... Celebrities dye their dogs all the time, so there is something out there...Have fun... I think I want to do it too :) ... |
i tried kooladie purple all it did was stain my fingers purple ewww 409 took it off though she has a little tint but you can't hardly see anything http://www.dropshots.com/day.php?use...5&ctime=103633 |

1 Attachment(s) There are several brands of color that do not require peroxide and will last for a few washings. Check at Sally's Beauty Supply. Here is a picture of my poodle with a pink heart. I think the product is called Manic Panic???? Be very careful not to get it in your pets eyes!!! Attachment 75542 www.sumtoiyorkies.com owner Best Friends Pet Salon Salem Oregon |

I was just going to say that! My daughter is a hairdresser and when she wants a "funky" color she will use manic panic...the color is VERY bright and washes out after several weeks.. |
