Really good/fast dryer? I'm almost certain I saw a similar thread here, but my searches aren't turning up anything. Can someone recommend a really good and FAST blowdryer (that won't break the bank)? We gave Bella a bath yesterday, and I didn't think she'd ever get dry. Thanks in advance! |
sorry, lexi is afraid of the dryer, so i towel dry her as much as i can before she jumps out of my arms... i use a regular blowdryer for human hair if i have to. i used it a few time, but kept the dryer about a foot away from her.. |
Are you looking for a cage dryer or a hand dryer? If you are looking for a cage dryer make sure it blows cool or room temp air and not hot air. When I groom my girls at home and not at the grooming shop I use my hair dryer on the cool setting |
I let mine air dry too not because they are scared of it but they started to dry out on me even when the air temp was on cool so I stopped blow drying their hair. |
I'm just looking for a hand dryer. Thanks! |
Here is a thread about a hair dryer someone bought and it wasn't expensive at all. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...ght=hair+dryer |
Perfect! Thanks so much! |
My breeder told me to towel dry Muffin and then use a regular blow dryer on her on the cool setting. I use a soft brush on her coat as I'm drying it. The trick though is not to dry them completely as this might dry out their hair. Muffin HATES the blow dryer even after me bathing her once a week for the past year. But her hair looks so much nicer when I blow it dry rather than let it air dry. |
I use a regular blow dryer on the coolest settings. I hold her wrapped in a towel for a few minutes after her bath which absorbs alot of the water, then I lay the folding up towel in my sink with it kinda curled up the sides of the sink and she can go to town twisting in circles to dry her little face while I happily and hurridly, dry her body with the dryer. She's perfectly safe as I NEVER leave her and she's comfy on the towel. She has very thin fur so it only takes a few minutes to get her dry |
I use a Sharper Image Ionic Blow Dryer - LOVE THAT THING! The thing is so QUIET - none of my dogs run from the dryer anymore. I put it on the coolest setting, after towel drying of course, and comb while drying and they come out just gorgeous - not 5 minutes later. ;) |
Here's the link for good dog dryers not expensive from Petedge http://www.petedge.com/jump.jsp?item...DEX&itemID=117 |
