I just got Rosie on tuesday, so I'm a little unfamiliar with girls.She gets wet all underneath when she pees. How do I trim that? Also around her rear end she gets poop.Anyone have any pictures showing that area? Thanks!

I don't have pictures but I did give Chanel a baboon butt when I shaved too much back there :p

My advise is use a Small Wahl trimmer - and just trim around the area and try to keep it short right ON her little hoo-hoo and a bit up the tummy. I trim both my girls and they never get pee on themselves...

on the booty cut - just trim a little bit on and around that area - and when I say little - that's all you need to do - if you trim too much - your baby will have a baboon butt like Chanel did :D

Here's the trimmer - Walgreens even sells them - around $10.00

V you forgot to tell how to get them to hold still for getting their hoo hoo shaved. LOL

hahaha - you got that lingo DOWN girl ! I really don't know - I do the girls when they're in my lap for that ...and standing on a table when I do booties.

With Cheri I have to Crowbar her tail off her little butt...she clamps it like a vicegrip:eek: but Miss Chanel LOVES having her butt shaved - of course ...she's my little hussy and likes anything if it feels good:)

I have a trimmer and I and a friend have trimmed her. It really didn't help very much. She gets wet behind her fu-fu between her legs.

Vi, I can't seem to get it right when I do Baby Blessing's booty cut, I give her a baboon cut every time :( though it is sure easy to see that it is clean :) so funny she now turns around for me to wipe her with tp cause I did that from the time we got her. She is doing so many fun things now, she now will go in circles for her treat. Such fun they are. Patti

LOL Patti !!! I wish I knew how to explain it - but after Chanel ran around bare assed for about 2 months I LEARNED to not shave too much - :p It really was funny looking - everytime I watched her from behind all I could think about was National Geographic and Monkeys lol

What I do it take tiny little strokes - and stand back to check how it looks - and do a few more little 'strokes' She's very good about it - stands there with her legs a mile apart ...the trick is to trim up and down - not across.

and a little trimming on the INSIDE of the legs will help too. No one can see that and it really helps with the pee. It must work cause I can kiss tummies anytime and my girls never have that pee smell - unless ....they need a trim

what i do...
 
is i take her in for the face, feet, and sanitary grooming every couple of months...i'm so afraid i will hurt my lil one she is so fiesty that i bring her in
they take care of that sanitary area, cut her toenails, trim up the ears and the area around her eyes and a bath....

That is hilarious! AprilLove does the same "vicegrip action" lol when I go for her pooper to trim

i put lexi on the counter, up high, give her a treat, perhaps a bunch of
cheerios,, as shes eating, im shaving that butt... just llifting up the tail,
one stroke of the buzzer,, hair is gone.. clean butt now. no clinggies..

lol...what a great term....baboon but and hoo hoo. Our groomer gave my girl a baboon cut booty and I thought it was strange looking....it's so nasty looking.
