Help!! Eye Boogies! Any help out there for eye boogies? I have trimmed the little hairs that stab the eyes. Bruno is only 10 weeks old. Seems to have alot of tears that kind of matt up. :( I don't want to alter his looks too much by getting crazy with scissors! Thanks, Kaitlyn :) Bruno |
My breeder suggested using a flee comb to keep this hair untangled. I do that and it works great. I have not trimmed eye hair, just keep brushing it downward. |
yes i use a flea comb for boogers too, but first a damp warm rag to soften it up.... |
I just get them out after her bath, they comb out really easily and I then can wipe them off her snout. She doesn't like to be messed with, but she does okay now that I've done it for awhile. I just clean her snout with a warm washcloth and a teeny tiny bit of soap and then rinse her out as good as I can, they're loose and gooey by then. :-) |
I wash the faces every morning using cotton or a baby wash cloth with warm water. washes right out. |
A moustache comb is what I use. Works great!!! Small enough size that the two of mine do not mind it at all~ |
once you get it cleaned out i use a little vaseline in the corner and rub it in under the eyes, helps alot. |
I use a wet warm washcloth and they come right out for me! |
I haven't used one before but I've also heard of people using eyelash/eyebrow combs. If you have an old one lying around the house you could use that. When I give Reagan a bath I put a little eye contact solution on a cotton ball and wipe the area real well. During the week I use a moustache comb to get them out and will wipe with a warm damp cloth if needed. |
