Grooming nightmare
 

I haven't taken Phoebe to a groomer yet, I have just been grooming her myself the same as I did for my Pomeranian and Chow however Phoebe is nothing like Murphy and Hannah were. Even from day one Murphy let me bath, blow dry, brush do his toe nails etc. Phoebe on the other hand wants nothing to do with any of it. She tried to jump out of the sink twice tonight and nearly succeeded, she is quite slippery when wet. She bites the blow dryer and brush constantly. Somehow she tends to end up even more matted at the end of her bath and brushing then at the beginning because she is all over the place and wont sit still. I am having to hold her down with one hand while brushing her with the other, it is quite mentally and physically exhausted.

I bought a grooming arm you just attach to a table but she nearly choked herself last time I used it. I also bought a hammock for it but that doesn't really help with blowing her dry and brushing her though it does help with doing her nails. She is 6 1/2 months and every grooming session is worse then the one before. I am Seriously thinking about using one of those mobile pet grooming vans that will come to the house, its spendy but at this point I am
thinking it would be totally worth it. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Tips?
