To cut or not to cut??? 1 Attachment(s) So confused...lol Lexi has beautiful hair but I know she is hot! Problem one she wears clothes won't go without them. She will sit by her little dresser and not move until you put something on her :D Problem 2 living in Florida the humidity lately has been beyond  Put, I am afraid it will take us 3 years to get her hair long again it just doesn't grow fast at all. I have seen a few hair cuts leaving all their hair on just cutting the back area and its cute and think it would at least help with the little dress area? Thanks for your thoughts....hugs Cheryl and Lexi too!! |
Lexi is beautiful. How cute that she insists on wearing clothes! If she wears clothes every day, I would opt for cutting her saddle/back and leaving her legs and head long. I know, tough choices! I wish that I could have it both ways on my boys. Long and short. :D |

Hair extensions, yes! :D |
Aww she is adorable. Jackson's short hair just fits him and our lifestyle so it's a no brainer for me and I am accustomed to the short styles, but when I see Max & Teddy and Lexi, they are beautiful. Maybe shave the hair under her belly (unless you already do that?) or like Kristin suggested, shave the saddle but keep the legs and face longer. Girllll get her out of clothes in the hot summer heat and that may just solve everything!:p:D |
She's beautiful! My Teddy doesn't have such beautiful fur but, even so, I never feel guilty about getting him cut cuz fur grows back. In the meantime, me and Teddy get a break from constant grooming and he gets to frolic in the heat without me worrying about the aftermath! |

1 Attachment(s) Lexi is gorgeous. I melt every time I see her. She has such a beautiful face, and I love her coloring. I used to agonize over cutting Katie's hair because I think it's so beautiful, but she loves to go on long walks and to play outside. Although it's very silky, her hair is very thick, and the heat really gets to Katie. When her hair is shorter, Katie is much more cuddly and happier. Although I prefer her hair longer, I think she looks adorable any way her hair is. When Katie came to me, her breeder cut her flank short, left a small skirt, and kept her legs long. This photo was taken almost three months later when the hair on her body started to grow longer and to blend together. It would make it easier for you with clothes. |

Max is like Katie, silky hair and lots of it. Hair to spare! Strangely, he does not overheat like Teddy, whose coat is half as thick. Teddy is the first to overheat in hot weather and the first to freeze in cold weather. It's a mystery. |
Its interesting because the correct coat for the dog is supposed to serve to protect them from the elements - I am talking generally speaking here. But Razzle does not overheat - silky coat - and when he was in full coat fine - but now he is in short coat he gets cold a lot faster! You can always take it in stages - trim the long hair on the body - with or without shaving down the back and see how she responds along with shaving the belly as well. Then if she seems better and you get used to your beautifull gal in a shorter coat - take it shorter still if you wish. |

My girls have long hair. Just can't cut it. She's gorgeous now but will be if you cut it or not! |
My girl gets overheated very easily so I keep it shorter all over, easier for me to take care of and she loves it short. She also likes to wear her clothes but hates hair bows, lol. |
