Clips for topknots I tried to put a little hairclip in Gunners head, it didn't work very well. I don't think I could do a rubber band because I have arthritis and my hands shake too. Is there some sort of clip that will stay in more than a few minutes that wouldn't be too difficult to put in? He did look adorable with it in, and it keeps the fluff out of his eyes. |
1 Attachment(s) I ordered a bunch of alligator clips from Mimimomo & I LOVE them. I've been using them without a band around the house & they've been working out really well! They can get a little twisted when she's exceptionally active...playing with her brother & sister or romping around outside. But that's expected. I like that they aren't stiffened. I always smush the stiffened ones when I try to clip them in. They're also very light on the head. Here's a link to the clips... toplinepet alligator clips And here's a pic of Prima with her little bow :) Attachment 392480 |
My favorite, easiest, quick fix is a small butterfly clip--you know, usually plastic, with the teeth. I have some that don't stay in well at all, & others that'll stay in all day so you need to experiment with what works best for your dog's hair. You can buy them anywhere, like Target or Walgreen's. When you gather the hair up, twist it a few times & then add the clip. Catch some hair that's not in the twist-that'll keep it from flopping forward. Good luck! |
