Alternative to ear taping? Cali has floppy ears, just like Scarlett and Rhett. I was able to get Rhett's up with taping, but Scarlett would never cooperate. Cali looks like she won't cooperate either. I've seen suggestions to use the breathe right strips inside their ears as an alternative as well as thin cardboard (like from a cereal box) adhered with eyelash glue. Has anyone ever used these techniques? How successful were they? Any other suggestions? I could leave them down, but if she takes after Scarlett, she will have multiple ear infections and I would like to avoid that. |
I'm afraid I don't have any suggestions but will give your thread a bump so others can see it again! Good luck! |
Do you think she would tolerate a hat of sorts made to keep her ears up? This would be something that she could be trained to tolerate... a few minutes several times a day... until she accepts it. |
I hadn't thought of a hat. I might have to see if I can find one small enough. |
I'm going to try and make something for my dogs... I'll let you know how it works out... I'm envisioning something like a bra for ears! LOL!:D Haha! The Ear Brazierre! (sp) or BrazEars! |
Oh my BrazEars! I love it. If only I could describe the mental I age I have right now! |
dog She is so cute. If it weren't for the ear infections I would say leave her ears the way they are. She is her own little dog person! |
