What Kind of Hair Dryer Do You Use For Your Pups? Now that I have 3, I think I need to invest in a better hair dryer. I've been looking at the CC Kool Dry & the Kool Pup. I'm just worried that the high velocity might freak out my little one. Was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Kool Dry/Kool Pup. I also saw a hand held Andis on Amazon for about $30 that I'm considering. Would love to hear about any recommendations on a hair dryer!! Thanks! |
I use my regular blow dryer on mine, but only in the cooler months. Sorry, I know that wasn't much help but maybe the bump of your thread will get it some answers. You could always do a Search of YT threads. I've gotten in the habit of using the Google search on the bottom of every page & changing it to search YT instead of the net. |

PS Clever idea about the search thanks Sherry |
I've always used my personal dryer on Mandie. But I am really wanting to get one for her that has a stand and all. If you get one, let us know how you like it. |

I use my T3 featherweight. It's the only one with enough settings, that I can get warmish (not hot) air with enough blow power to dry quickly, and is light enough to hold for a bit of time. |

I just bought this Bio Ionic iDry Whisper Light from Amazon: Bio Ionic iDry Whisper Light Pro I'm hoping it'll be a little quieter & lighter. Thanks for the feedback & suggestions! I'll update after I get it to let you know how it works. |
1 Attachment(s) I have the Andis with the stand, and I like the hands free operation and it's very quiet. Only down side is sometimes when I've been drying on high for a while and turn it off without putting it on cool first, it overheats and won't turn back on for three minutes. Even my little rehome didn't mind this one and his previous owner said he was terrified of hair dryers. Once they get use to the noise of this, I've found that I can use a human hair dryer that's really loud on the them. Also, you can use the stand with other dryers. |
I also have the Andis Comfort Dry with stand. model # ST-6 |

Do you used one of those lazy Susan-type grooming tables? Just wondering if the stand angles on the dryer works okay with one of those. |
