How do you control weeping eyes, my dog eyes are contantly watering, even after her bath and grooming.

If you dog is a puppy, it could be due to teething, if he's over 12 months and still tearing, I'd look at food. Some people have had success with giving Gerber's water to teary dogs; it's distilled (purified) water that has had the minerals removed, if your local water has too many minerals, it can cause tearing.

So just buying distilled water would work? Galen also has tear eyes. I know he is teething ;)

Tearing eyes
 
I feed her Purina pro plan (chicken) for puppies. I give her dye free training treats, and we live out in the country on well water with a reverse osmosis water system. I can try the distilled water , but I understood the the RO water was very close to distilled, not totally sure though. Her eye tearing fluid also smells bad. I am going to take her to the vet to rule out an infection. Will also try the distilled water. Thanks.

It worked for Joey when he was a puppy. Some distilled water isn't safe for drinking, it's meant for steam irons and isn't in the right kind of plastic bottles and doesn't have expirations dates so that bacteria could grow out of control. Water meant for baby formula is distilled and is in safe plastic with expiration dates. It's only about a dollar a gallon. I could tell the next day if my husband would give Joey regular water, the tears would be back. I would test him about once a month and he eventually outgrew it and didn't need special water. He didn't have any more tears until I did a food switch and he was horribly sensitive to his new food. So we're back on his regular food and his eyes are clear once again.

Teething
 
Teddie is 51/2 months old. Thanks, I did not know teething could cause tearing.

I've heard that RO water has very little minerals. If she's still a puppy it's probably from teething, you could try the Gerber water, it doesn't hurt to switch waters. I'm not a big fan of people switching puppy food, but there may be something in the food that she's sensitive to. I'm concerned with the odor and it could develop into a yeast infection if she's damp all the time. Glad you are going to the vet.
