Tips for a haircut I've finally decided to get Joels hair cut, not just cut but shaved! I'm getting angry at his cottony hair lol. At one point I said "This isn't that bad, I can handle this" But now, no way. And it's definetly not gonna work out for the summer. We had a cook out at a park and I took him exploring through some woods and things were sticking to him like he was velcro! So Im gonna take him somewhere to get shaved and was wondering what to lookout for before he gets it cut, like should they leave his head alone for his topknot or would it look wierd. Any advise is appreciated. ;) |
I keep Paisley puppy cut year round and I leave his topknot. He looks funny without it. |
Did you get Joel's hair cut today? I just saw your post tonight. I was going to suggest the Joey/Zhoie cut. It's a very popular haircut for cotton coats. You can do a search and see what it looks like. The head, legs and tail remain uncut, and the body is cut very short. Personally, I would try this cut. You can always go shorter if it doesn't work out. Be sure to post a picture! |

I didn't get it cut yet, but his legs are the most part that keep matting so i'll prolly get him all shaved but not all the way. I'll do a search and check it out. :) |

Here is a link to the Joey cut. A very cute cut, but the legs are left untouched. Maybe getting a shorter version of this would work? http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/album.php?albumid=484 This is a link to the Zhoie cut. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...640x428-2-.jpg |
Someone on here had their little boys top knot cut into a mohawk!! I cant remember what the body style was, but I thought that mohawk on a little boy was absolutely adorable! Maybe they will see this and step forward with pics of their baby boy and his mohawk!!! |

I have a picture of Gizmo in my albums. He was shaved all but his mohawk it was done for camping/riding season. I loved him in that look! |
