wipes Has anyone used baby wipes ? Baby wipes are so much cheaper than puppy or dog wipes. I am thinking about getting some instead. I am considering some hypoallergenic or natural baby wipes. |
For cleaning "down there" as an old aunt of mine to say??? Absolutely! That is exactly what I use, and I wipe little feet off when they come in from outside....seems to keep the pads of their little feet, "soft and supple"!!!!!! |
Thanks. It seems as if they mark up the price for puppy and doggy wipes like crazy. Baby wipes are more economical! |
I use babywipes on ZoE's paws after she's been for a walk or to the dog park. I talked to my vet about it at her last visit and he said to look for ones that are alcohol free, as alcohol can be very drying on their skin. I use Huggies Natural Care. |
We use Huggies baby wipes (cucumber and green tea) for butt checks and wiping paws after coming in if it's rainy. I've always used them, puppy wipes are crazy expensive! |

I think anything for our babies they always jack up the prices. Baby wipes here. I use them on Tina because she is in a diaper and if I take her outside she always falls in her tee tee. I wipe her little backend and her tummie with them inbetween diaper changes. Alot cheaper. |
I've always used baby wipes. Like Kazzy said, as long as they're alcohol free, you're good to go :) I get mine for like $2! |
I remember when we went shopping for supplies after Hot Rod came home, we bought everything puppy. Lol. I remember the box of wipes being $10.00 and said to my hubby, "we're done ...we're officially crazy dog people. " lol The vet said that sensitive baby wipes we're just as good. I also tear a piece into 4 pieces and use them for eye goobers |

A very safe, cheap and natural alternative to wipes is a soft cotton wash cloth with warm water. No waste, no cost, no harmful chemicals :) ((Even some the unscented wipes have sodium hydroxymethylglycinate in them) http://www.goodguide.com/ingredients...659-baby-wipes |
