dry shampoos? Hey Everyone.. sooo.. i dont know what it is... but as Lucy is getting older (1 years old) her fur is not the same.. it gets extremely greasy and tangled more than ever... i give her a bath probably more than i should (once every 2 weeks.. sometimes.. once a week.) just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on dry shampoos and detangling sprays? it just sucks cause i have to keep her hair short and i would like to grow it out a little bit but keeping it some what short has been a little helpful.. any suggestions would help.. thanks!:D |
I tried the Chris Christensen waterless shampoo and I didn't like it. Seemed really chemically to me. My boys have long hair and they get really dirty outdoors, so I bathe at least once a week and often do a body wash in between. They have never had dry skin or any other problem from washing often. Also, I have found that keeping them clean is the best defense against tangles. If I pile on products on Max's coat, it becomes unbrushable after a couple of days. Teddy's hair does well with Pet Silk Silk Serum. |

The products I use the most are Bio-Groom Oatmeal Shampoo and Silk Creme Rinse conditioner for the body, SPA facial scrub (cleans really well, but is gentle on the eyes), and Vellus conditioner for their beards. (I'm going to be selling Bio-Groom and SPA; the Vellus I buy directly from the company). Chris Christensen Day to Day shampoo and conditioner, or any of the CC products are great for strong, supple, shiny hair. You can buy CC products directly from them or through Cherrybrook and Amazon. Coat Handler (available online from many sources) is very gentle and is a favorite among exhibitors. I use it during the summer, switching between CH and Bio-Groom. |
