NOT HAPPY WITH Pure Paws. :( Well I got some samples. And I diluted the shampoo. But it still dried by baby's coat out. It made it dull and dry. I didn't understand it. And now she is itching. :( Any suggestions on shampoos to try? I'm supposed to get some biogroom samples. I'm thinking about using the So Gentle Shampoo and Conditioner Or the Oatmeal Shampoo and Conditioner with the silk rinse and mink oil spray and coat polish. |
I like BioGroom, it seems to get their hair clean and the scent stays around for days. It's also tear free and that's a plus. I've also used PetSilk in the past and it's one of my favorites. Let me add the the BioGroom is very thin but you do not need much. The PetSilk is super thin and I always added water to both the shampoo and conditioner. If I didn't add the water the conditioner would barely come out of the bottle. So if you are looking for price comparisons between the two keep this in mind. |
Thank you for that information. Pet Silk is another option for my little baby. I'm just trying to find the best for her. |
You are welcome :) I hope that you find one that you really like. |
Not rinsing thoroughly causes itching regardless of the shampoo. I'd also suggest start from the inside out and supplement her with virgin coconut oil |
I've recently tried Yorkie Splash & Shine and really love it. Her hair is soft & she smells soooo good, even after playing with other dogs (that usually makes her stink). She's still been itchy, waiting for word from the vet-I don't know if it could be a medical problem with your pup as well. |
I love Pure Paws. They have a fabulous line of products which I use all the time. Never had a problem with dry or itchy coats. I've used it on many breeds from akitas to yorkies. Their coats come out beautiful. Yorkies are silky smooth and shiny. |
The lady said that I didn't dilute it enough so that may have been my fault. Its my first dog and my first time trying to dilute a shampoo. |
