"Chinese Crested" Haircut
 
Aja will be getting her first haircut on Tuesday. I have fallen in love with previous postings of their babies in the Chinese Crested cut.

I was looking for those of you who have your babies in it or similar (Beard, face, legs and tail long)............maybe post a picture on this thread that they don't mind me bringing into the groomers as a guide?

I love the full coat yorkie but want to give this cut a try for little Aja. If I end up not liking it, we can always grow it back.

Hi, I have one of my girls in this cut. I will try to get some new pictures today and will post them either tonight or in the morning. If your girl likes to wear clothes this cut is awesome. I actually cut Lilly's myself. A groomer friend of mine showed me how to round out her face and the rest is a piece of cake to do.

I have Gracie Ruth cut this way, although I've not heard it called a Chinese Crested cut before. Around here it's called the "Gracie Ruth". :rolleyes: People see her, love the cut, ask for my groomer info and what to tell her how to cut their dog. I say to tell her you want the "Gracie Ruth". I've sent her so much business that she told me she's officially calling it the Gracie Ruth. :D:D

Fido had that kind of cut ! here is a pic of him you can bring to the groomers if you want to :) !

I have Ginny Joy cut in the 'Gracie Ruth' cut and just added pics of her new hair cut in my album today.

I didn't get to take the new pictures today but these are from her first crested cut. Her face hadn't been trimmed yet in in the first picture. It is in the second. I cut her face just a bit shorter this past hair cut and I think it looks more in proportion to the rest of her body. Sort of like a Westie with a topknot.

Thank you, I think her little bum is pretty adorable too! I love how her tail hair curls. :)

Thank you, G is pretty cute, if I do say so myself. :p I just love this cut on her. Her hair is so thin and tangles if you just look at it. So this is great for her. Long ponytail, 'boots' and cute curls on her bum. :D
