Sap in fur Hi all, I'm wondering if you know of anything that will take tree sap out of a dogs coat. I appreciate the help :) Thanks |
I am not sure, but I think I read somewhere to try peanut butter. Hopefully someone will come on and give you some advice, because I just am not sure. Good luck!! |
Thank you! I didn't think anyone would see this thread:P I appreciate your help! |
I have had success with isopropyl rubbing alcohol on paw pads and hair around feet. Not sure it will help but might be worth a try. It also works great on cars. |
Thanks Cathy! I was just looking at pads on your site today! Expect to hear from me soon :) |
My dogs told me they want to pee and poop on funky cheeta :P |
I had this problem and used butter to get it out. (Regular butter, not peanut butter.) It worked! |
Most oils will do the trick. Just rub it into the coat really well and it will break up the sap. Peanut butter gets gum out of hair, so maybe it will get sap out too. ;) |
