Well, I really hate to do it but with the heat I don't think I have a choice. I'm going to get Bitsy shaved down again:( It's so hot down here, I just think she would be more comfortable. She doesn't look bad with it shaved, I just like her with her hair longer. What do ya'll think???

I just looked at your album & if you're referring to cutting it like the first few pics I think she'll look adorable!

I've grown fond of the long hair but usually keep it very short. It's so easy & still cute. I love how the hair on her face is, too.:)

I think some hair helps keep them cool. We do naked tummies, from the chest to the privates, and 1/4 up the sides.

Or you could shave the back from shoulders to rump, and leave a skirt all around... she'll still appear to have a full coat at a distance.

I thought about cutting her top knot off, but she has these great black tips at the end that I really don't want to cut. It's hard to see them in the photos, plus she hates having her hair put up:D

I think she would be cute with any cut. I also looked at your album and it looks like you dress her a lot, in that case the shorter body hair is easier.

It is hot here also, Miami, I keep remy's face and legs long and trim the body.
I think she looks cute like that. I haven't cut her for the summer yet... thinking

I just looked at your albums, Bitsy looks adorable with the shaved cut. I leave Zhoie's topknot, shave her back and leave face and legs long.
Oh, and I leave some on her tail, she has a numb and it makes her look like she has a little tail, ;).

I am faced with the same problem you have with the heat. My problem is that Sophie's hair is very thick, cottoney AND is now developing a distinct kink to each hair. She looks like a wooly mammoth when it gets any length on it. After having shaved pretty short a while back it is now in the stage of being basically a longish puppy cut and everybody thinks she is getting fat! She is NOT fat she is Fluffy!!:cool:
She will be shaved down this weekend.

That sounds just like my Cooper. His hair grows out instead of down and he looks huge! He looks like a giant gray cottonball with legs. I'm debating the puppy cut again.
