Many people here have given you great suggestions. The Madan Pin and Chris Christensen Pin are great brushes. Also, after you brush the coat, make sure you take a metal comb and run that through the coat. You need to be able to get the comb through all of her hair and down to the skin. make sure you pay attention to high friction areas like arm pits, neck, and groin area, especially if she wears clothes, harnesses, and a collar.
If you put a top knot in her hair be sure to take the top knot out each night before bed with band scissors and then brush the hair to prevent matting. Top knots that are left in too long can cause pain, hair breakage, and matting. |
