I have an Oster and have no experience with that particular one, but when I bought mine I went online and looked for reviews to see what users were saying about it. Do you have the model number? |

Andis are really good clippers. I'd want to find out how old they are, how much they've been used, etc. |

I have an Oster too. It has snap on blades for like changing from a #10 (belly & butt) to a #40 (ears, pads or when using snap on combs). I found that very convenient as opposed to the screw on ones. Does this on have the snap on blades? When I first started grooming Zhoie (14 wks), I had the screw on blade trimmer, later on found out I definitely wanted the snap on, so went the Oster. I really like it, it's very sturdy too. |
honestly no, i would not waste your money on it if you're reason for purchasing a clipper is for fully grooming your yorkie. i have two andis clippers for grooming. purchased one through petedge and the other at a grooming show. |

This is snap on..I will have to invest in a pricier one later on if I find this one is not up to par! I just ordered a grooming video, Hopefully it will be helpful too! :) |

I own that clipper. The black arm on the side adjusts the blades. It's works well on ears, feet and sanitary shaves. I upgraded to an Andis Master Clipper when I decided to shave my pets down in the summer. |
