Ideas to groom a wiggly yorkie Does anyone have any ideas how to groom a really wiggly little yorkie? Unfortunatly she can't control her movements as she has a neurological problem but in addition she is very fiesty and barks, growls and occassionally tries to bite. I am not sure if this is because the groomers before just pull on her or what. They do a nice job but the way she reacts when I try to brush her makes me wonder what happens when I am not there. So I thought I would try to do it myself but need suggestions. Thanks> |
Really? Really? Know has any ideas. That's a bummer!!! |
Wish I could help but Zeke, Zipp and Zoey are all squirmer deluxes. Thank goodness Zack is not a bigtime wiggler, only around his muzzle. I will also be keeping an eye on this thread for any helpful tips. |
Next time you take him to the groomer ask if you can stay and watch. I have seen some groomers that I would never allow to work on my dog. In front of the customer they are sweet as can be but sometimes behind your back they can be hateful. I use to work at a Kennel and saw this happen frequently. I stepped in a few times and it didn't make me very popular. |
The only thing I could think of is getting a grooming table. This is the cheapest one I could find PetEdge: Master Equipment Small Pet Grooming Table - Pink Top The arm will keep it so she can't move away from you. |
