Izzy's Haircut 2 Attachment(s) I'm not feelin' Izzy's new haircut. I asked the groomer to trim the hair, not butcher it! Ugh. Here are before and after pics: |
If that was a trim, I'd hate to see what she does when someone doesn't ask for a trim. Anyway, Izzy is still a doll!!! And if you don't like it, just remember, it will grow back out ;) |

He still looks adorable. |
WOW That's a trim!!! Glad hair grows back. Looks adorable both ways but I get what you feel. Thats why I ended up in grooming school lol |
Oh wow...that's a big trim, but IZZY IS ADORABLE!!! :D |
It's nice. Izzy is adorable! |
groomer mess up I know just what you are feeling. Belle is a Morkie more on the maltese side. I had a cute picture of a hair cut that I wanted. It was very clear and I added what I wanted as far as her ears and tail. I was letting hwe ears grow out so I just wanted them trimmed. She has the plume tail of the maltese and I didn't want anything done. OMG, when I picked her up I was in shock! Her ears were as short as they could go, her tail was shaved to a little nub and her back leg was bleeding where she cut her with the trimmer. When I left, she knew just what I thought of her work. Belle hasn't been back to a groomer since, she even fusses when I try and trim her. I have considered taking a grooming class so I can do it myself. Is it expensive and am I too old at 58 to do this? |
Angeleyes, you're definitely not too old to start grooming your dog yourself and enrolling in a class. From my experience with groomers, I decided to groom them myself and although we've made many mistakes, they all grew back out, lol. And I love the quality time that you get with the dogs. You can teach yourself from videos on youtube and information here on YT or you can pay for a class. Personally, I'm not interested in grooming other types of dogs, so the classes weren't worth it for me. Yorkie's hair is like human hair and I cut it like it. The classes wouldn't have hurt though. |
Aw, Izzy still looks like a sweet baby girlie. I too have groomed Zhoie myself since she came home. She will be 2 in Jan., and it has been all by trial and error. The upside is, it does grow back, lol. |
The last groomer I went to butchered my baby too! I was so mad! I wanted a shorter haircut but she took her down to almost no hair like your baby! |
Chloe, my 7mth old Teacup just got groomed...OMG!!! I guess my first mistake was telling them to cut her short!!! Well, just a little too "scissor happy"...She looks like, uh, not sure...Schnauzer, maybe???? urggggg!!!! I can't wait for it to grow back...lol |
