Groomer said there might be a skin problem? I just had Annie groomed today, and while they were looking at her coat the Salon Owner said that the short patches on her sides were possibly from a skin condition:confused: I just had her at the Vet, she doesn't have mange or anything. I don't know what kind of "skin condition" he could be referring to. Has anyone else been told this? Her skin looks completely normal, she's not dry or flakey either. It's just like along her sides/ribcage the hair is very short. I'm sure quality of food has a lot to do with how the coat grows, and she was eating dog chow before I got her. I have them on Flint River Ranch and raw too. I'm hoping that those patches will improve and grow out with the rest of her coat... are there any products I can use for her coat to stimulate growth? Or any suppliments that would help? |
My groomer was finding sores on my Layla about a year back and told me not to feed her anything with Red 40 in it. The sores went away but she misses her Beggin' strips. |

None of my dogs get anything with artificial colors. Coloring is just to please the human eye and entice you to buy that food or treat. There aren't any sores at all. |
