Moroccan oil and Ives St.B Okay meant to post this awhile ago, but I absolutely love this moroccan oil - I got the light kind. It is sold in Beauty Supply Outlets. It feels like silk and is supposed to repair damaged hair, as well as "grow hair". It smells wonderfull Maximo:) very subtle scent. I use it when I wrap .. I've also diluted it and used it as a spray when brushing. I also got on Thurs some Ives Bernard mink oil. this I added 1/4 tsp to my biogroom oatmeal shampoo, and wow it is very good too. Again the scent is not too strong and I think pleasant. So much fun to try out the different products, and to have a silky shiney boy at the end of it all. |
Your title caught my eye Moroccan Oil. My son's GF is a stylist (people) at a high end salon and day spa she used it on my hair the other day. I loved it and it smelled great and we were just talking about her picking me up some for myself. I obviously don't have show dogs but I should try it on mine too. :) Have you tried it on your hair? |

I want to get the ISB mink oil and gloss too! And I was looking into getting the Moroccan oil for myself. Never even thought about using it for the pups but that's a great idea! Glad to hear it works well. My friend is supposed to be getting me some samples - guess I won't be trying it just on my own hair now! |
my stylist uses moroccan oil on my hair when i get it done and its fabulous! its a little pricey but worth it. i bet it does wonders for our yorkies hair too since its like ours. |

Anyone know where to find moroccan oil in the US? Linda from ISB left a voice mail for me this week, tempting me again to place an order. I have to wait because of other doggy expenses. |
Moroccan oil is also known as argan oil and readily available at places like Sally's beauty supply. I presently use biosilk on my dogs. |
LOVE ALL THE IBS PRODUCTS!!! I have been using these products for 2 months on my 3 (all with different coat texture) and what a transformation!! :) |

I bought the argon oil at sally's for my own hair, and I love it!!it helped my bleached hair feel normal again, (no more straw) and I then thought about trying it out on Riley, well I use it on him now every time I bath him. I just put a small amount on the palm of my hand and rub my hands together and run them through his hair, and it has done wonders, his hair is sooo shiny now as well as soft and silky. a little go's a long way so dont use to much. I tried it on my bichons as well, but it dont work on their hair, but for yorkie hair it's great. and it smells heavenly. |

Well worth every penny you pay for it. Good for you and your furbutt :) |
I'm a hairstylist and use Moroccan Oil everyday, I absolutely LOVE this product. I emulsify it in my hands ,then apply it to damp hair and blowdry. It makes the hair feel amazing. I have used it on my Beatrice's hair once ,just to try it. I didn't realize that you can get a light formula. I think this would work better on her ultra silky hair. Diluting the regular oil with water would make a great maintenance brushing spray I'm sure. |
