Good, affordable clipper suggestions? I want to start grooming my Cocker Spaniel and attempting to groom Tobie but I can't afford to buy the most expensive clippers out there. Does anyone know where I can get a decent clipper for maybe around $60-$70? Or is that unlikely? TIA! |
i dunno how likely you would be able to get a good decent clipper at that price lol but i have the Oyster Turbo 2 speed....and love it! |
So how much should I expect to spend for good clippers? |
At work we use only Wahl products. Walmart sells a Wahl kit that is about $30 here. I work as a groomer and they have a great successful business so their tools must be doing something right. The one that comes in the $30 kit is a blue cordless clipper by Wahl. We use that specific one at work, too. As well as others more expensive but I do not personally see a lot of difference as long as the blades are kept in maintenance. |
Is it very noisy? Zeke can be a handful at the groomers especially around his ears and toe nails. Any suggestions for good nail clippers? |

Thanks for the suggestions :) I might just get a cheap one to start out with and see how I do because I know myself pretty well... LOL... and I'm afraid that I will get frustrated with my lack of grooming skills and give up. I would hate to spend a lot and then end up going back to the groomer. |
