Help with Yorkie hair! Hi! I'm from Argentina and I'm about to buy a T-Cup Yorkie. The thing is that I like it with a short hair, kind of messy, like when they are puppies it reminds me of Gizmo from the Gremlins! What I wanted to know is: Are they different kinds of hair inside the Yorkies? Or is it only the type of haircut is what changes? Becouse im affraid that when it grows up I won't be able to make it look like that! Sorry for my english and thanks for your answer! Bye. This is the way i want it! Yfrog - 5nr.jpg |
Welcome to YT! Are you going to have a boy or a girl? Are you going to name it Gizmo? One thing you will learn here is that there is no such thing as a "teacup" Yorkie. Some Yorkies are smaller, but there is not a recognized part of the breed called teacup. You will have no problem keeping your Yorkie's hair short as it grows older. The shorter styles are often called "puppy cuts" or "teddy bear cuts." Lots of people here have their dogs styled that way. Some Yorkies have silky coats, others have softer coats or cotton coats. Both hair types can be kept short like a Yorkie puppy. Best wishes for you and your new puppy! |
