Question about the hair on Louis' face Louis' hair is starting to look a little bit "crimped" on the hair on his face. He just turned 2 and I was wondering if this is normal. It is just slightly crimped and you can't tell unless you are really close up. |
Molly's is a bit like that, but mainly due to the fact she sleeps in a little ball with her head tucked in! She has real crinkly bed hair in the mornings! :D |
Zeus sort of has that too by his whiskers. |
Tobie's hair is like that too on the top of his head. It drives me crazy when I'm trying to put it up in a top knot. |
Krimping of the facial furnishings is normal. Usually caused by your pups rubbing and causing damaged hair/split ends. |
Great not only do I have to worry about my split ends but my Yorkies too! |

Another thing that I forgot to mention any type of chews...I usually hold the chews for my show dogs and wash their face when they're done. But, your pups are pets.....My recommendation just keeping the face clean....don't stress them or you out. |

The type of brushes I use is highly dependent on the type of coat and at point of the grooming process I'm at. In other words I use several types, for drying, removing mats, final finishing, etc. I exhibit and groom so, I have an arsenal of different types of brushes and combs. |
