Is this a good table? 1 Attachment(s) I'm looking for a grooming table and wonder if I could get some opinions on this one. Petedge has it for $36 (around $60 with shipping). Thanks! :) |
I looked into getting this table a few months ago because someone on here recommended it . I can't remember who it was, though. I've never gotten around to ordering it so I'd like to see what others think. |

table I'm looking for one also. I would like a table top one, looks like it. Let me know also. thanks cheryl |
It just sits anywhere that it will fit on and it swivels I believe. I don't have one but I am getting one when I can afford to. It has the pole for the lead and think it comes with the lead too, not sure. I believe that is very similar to what Marcerella used, seen in her grooming videos. It is the cheapest table I've seen and everyone seems to live by petedge products. I'd say it's probably one of the best small tables. |
I personally prefer a regular grooming table unless you are traveling to shows and need something portable. They are not that much more expensive and you'll have plenty of room to keep all your grooming supplies right at hand. |
The small size makes me nervous. I would find out how much it weighs. If it is too lightweight puppies could pull it around easily. I kinda like the compact idea though :) |
I have this table and I like it. I have two yorkies that I groom on it. It is heavy and they cannot move it. With the hold around there neck I am always beside them. :) |
I've got both types of tables, this small swivel one from Petedge and a traditional table. I like and use both at different times. Although the swivel table is small, it's not lightweight at all. The small table is great though, I like to use it out on our patio when the weather is nice. The only drawback with the swivel table is that grooming a larger yorkie would be difficult bc of the table surface area. |
I have one and use it regularly on my four - they range from 4 lbs to 13 lbs and they all fit no problems. I like it. Small, sturdy and easily stored.. |
Thanks to everyone who gave their reviews - I've been wanting to get one and it's nice to hear what those who actually have have to say about it. |
:thumbs up I took the plunge and ordered it! :) |

Got it! Received my grooming table yesterday. I used it to brush & trim Saydee's ears...worked great. :) She is very easy to work with anyway. Tried it with Rily, not so good. The arm seems a little short and, of course, Rily was a wild butt! Rily seemed a bit afraid and wasn't as cooperative as Saydee. I did manage to brush him a little, so I guess we will have to ease him into it. As far as the table goes, except for the arm height I liked it. It is light weight, but didn't move. However, I would not recommend it for a furbutt over 10 pounds, just not big enough. I think I will like it better after Rily adjusts to it. |
Thanks so much for the comment mine will be little so hopefully it will work out great. also I'm sure since she is a puppy will have to get her used to it. Thanks again, I will place my order also. Cheryl |
