Shaved ear tips? Hi everyone. When I got my little Fiona the tips of both ears were shaved. The breeder (who was also a former groomer) said that they needed to have very little hair on them to stay up. I was wondering if I needed to keep them shaved or if it were OK to let the hair grow now. She is now 5.5 months old and has very long hair. They were cute that way but I may want to let them grow out a little. I don't want them to fall back though. Anyone know what will happen if I let them grow? Thanks:) |
I have one who the ears stayed up but everyone else if I don't shave they start dropping down. |
so it is possible to just watch them and if they sart to fall it won't be to late to shave them and get them back up? Thanks for the help!:) |
Yes but don't let it go to long or you might not get them up again. Just a week or so. |
Thanks. I will keep an eye on them. I may just trim them a little and not shave them completely like the breeder. Who knows I may not like them long anyway! Ashlee |
If you just do the tips you should be fine..you trim them in a v. |
Anyone have a picture of how to trim their little ears? Any before and after pictures of ear triming? |
