I am looking for a summer cut/sport cut...anyone have recent photos?
I have seen really cute cuts in Florida, but I am in the Boston area now and was looking for pictures. Any help? THanks.

Longer on the legs makes them look more like a Yorkie I think.

All of my girls are cut shorter for summer. Here are some recent pictures of one girl Pia. You can't see her body because of clothes but it is short. :) I have pics in my albums that might be helpful. Good Luck ;)

I'm taking this pic in for the groomer to see tomorrow. I love the way the face is cut... (not my Yorkie, but she is a cutie!!)

Teresa I am TOTALLY stealing Yogi's pic to take to the groomer here...no one believes me that boys can wear the topknot/ponytail and still look studly...Yogi totally rocks it. I dig!

Baron just had his summer cut done @ the groomers last Thursday night. I think that Deb, his groomer @ Country Pets in Lancaster does a great job. I wanted him short for our trip to Arkansas and the Vet Tech I spoke to on Monday said that it's 80 degrees out there. I also am having him neutered and didn't want them to just shave him for surgery and him be bald in the back only. This way he looks all groomed evenly and no bald spots. She only charges $34.00 plus I tip her. I think that's a reasonable price to pay for grooming every 6-8 weeks.:) I am having trouble uploading pics to here, It says that they're too big. If you look in my Avatar and my site albums you can see his new hair cut...:D

aww, thanks. :) I too, am loving it so much. Lisa did an amazing job and as you know, these Texas Yorkies have a special challenge looking good and staying cool in this heat and humidity. :cool:

LOL! :D Yogi thanks you for the compliment. He says not many people see the "studly" in him, as they can't seem to get past his overpowering cuteness. Please feel free to print out the picture to show to your groomer.

Aw he says thanks :) LOL. I think that about his eyes too. It's so cute when he just stares at me, it's like he's telling me so much, haha.

I lovee your little ones cuts! I may do that in the future and keep his face a bit longer than his body :) Soo cute!

Here is the cut I have for Beau. I keep his face and body short and let his legs grow a little long. Easy to keep up with!!

The first pic is right after being groomed and the second is a couple weeks later when it started to grow back. I like keeping Mandie in the short cut because it is HOT in Florida!!!!!

Furless For Summer

Pete and Dakota are practically shaved for the Summer. We have a terible tick problem around our house and, even though they are protected with Frontline, they have to be thoroughly checked before coming in the house when they go out because the ticks get into their fur and get on us. The short cut completely changes their looks but it's necessary and sooooo much easier to take care of.
