Biewer Owners Please Help... My baby is black/white...How do I keep the white looking white? What shampoo/ conditioner should I use? I told my vet about the tear stains..I was going to use Angel Eyes...he suggested I not use it.......so I guess that part will have to stay a little stained....lol... Thank you..:) |
I'm trying Chris Christenson's White on White and really like it so far. It's not a bleach so it doesn't dull the darker colors (actually it seemed to brighten them somewhat). You use it about every 4 to 6 weeks and use your regular shampoo at other times |
I use the White on White shampoo. I also use White shampoos designed for Cotons and Maltese (pricey). I use Angel Eyes and have for a long time. We have little to no tear stains--depends on which dog. |
I haven't used the CC shampoos, but have heard the White on White is good. I use Espree products, (all natural), they have one called Bright White Shampoo that works really nicely, brings out the brightness in the other colors (black/tan/golds), too. |
Can we see a picture of her. Pretty please. |

check my page ....Her album is on there... :) |
I haven't had that problem. Tootises face is pretty dark. Now, my other biewer has an almost white face, but, he has never had tear staining. On my old maltese I would take a cotton ball and put peroxide on it and wipe under the eyes, that worked better than anything else I tried |
Bio-Groom has a shampoo called Super White that works very well. It also brightens the black colors. You can e-mail them and ask for a sample. Bio-Groom - Exceptional Pet Care Products for Over 30 Years |
