scissor talk i am no professional groomer (all though i would love to be and wish i was!) but i do personally groom my yorkie because we have had so many bad experiences and by that i mean ridiculous hair cuts at times when i requested NO SCISSORS OR CLIPPERS BE USED!!! do you think they listened, no! my question is, what scissors should i buy or be using to do an all over trim? Thank you! |
I'm trying to do my own grooming as well. I just went to a beauty supply store and bought a pair of good quality hair scissors. Try to find small ones - they're less dangerous if someone gets the wiggles. |
thank you! will try for sure |
I was that way as well. I cut Meka myself for the first year because I had heard so many bad grooming stories. I had purchased a dog grooming kit from target for $25.. it came with a how to DVD, great clippers and scissors as well. They also sell scissors seperately in the dog isle. |
I got scissors at Sallys beauty supply |
I get my scissors from Pet Edge. The Heritage Stilleto scissors are good for just starting out. They are in the $60 range. |
thank you !!! |
I think I'll check out the grooming package you bought at Target. I'd definetly need a video to help me out. |

scissors at Sally's Beauty Supply Hi, My pet scissors are dull and I have been seriously considering going to Sally's and buying some to replace them. Which scissors did you buy at Sally's? And the price range? Thanks. :-) Quote:
