pony tails for boys  or should I say top knot :) Tucker's hair on the top of his head is getting long enough for a small pony tail, it actually lays to one side like he has bangs. lol I put it up yesterday and he actually kept it there for quite awhile untill he and my toy poodle were wrestling and she helped him take it out.. (she hates her hair up ) anyways when I told my hubby about it he said "he is a boy and doesnt need his hair up" I thought he looked really cute and since he didnt mind it I wouldnt mind keeping it up. So is it ok for a boy dog to have his hair up?? :animal36 Thanks. I added a pic, he looks like a reindeer. lol.. why does he look so silly in ever picture I take.. :p |
forgot picture 1 Attachment(s) its been a really long week  |
haha, too cute. My dh feels the same way, but after he let Maximus fall out of his lap the other night and he was sick about it, he said that he'd rather see a bow in his head than be sick or hurt. |
2 Attachment(s) i think boys look adorable in ponytails or topknots! i have pictures of both :D |

Your boy is adorable! Love the 'antler' look!! I think topknots are fine in boys, but my DH is adamant about no "bows" on the boys. Perhaps if you just use a grooming band or a "manly" color scrunchie your DH won't mind so much. Funny story; Every morning when we all get up I put Gracie Ruths hair up and put Yogi's collar with his bell on him. Lately Boo has been getting right into the middle of everything while I'm trying to do this. It dawned on me that perhaps he wanted some 'special Momma attention' too. So the other morning I put his hair up also. He jumped down off the bed and strutted around with his head and tail held high. DH came out of the bathroom and started saying something when I told him, just look at how proud he is to have his very own topknot. Yogi was desperately trying to reach it to pull it out, but Boo kept his head up and Yogi couldn't reach it. DH started laughing at how Boo was acting and said he could keep it in until Boo rubbed it out. It stayed in all day!! :D But to keep DH happy I didn't put it in again the next day. But now after doing G's hair and Yogi's collar, I stroke Boo's head for a few seconds, give him a kiss and tell him how very, very handsome he is and that seems to satisfy his need for 'special Momma attention'. |

I think bows are cute for boys. I have a boy and he wears boy bows(look at my avatar). :D My bf was against it at first but when he saw how he looks he changed his mind. |
