What brush do you use on your baby? I've just been using a comb to groom Chase. Are there specific brushes I should get for Yorkies? Is there a brand that seems to work the best for your babies? Thanks! |
Chris Christensen gold series pin brush, the best we've tried so far  |
2 Attachment(s) I discovered the Madan pin brushes about a year ago and haven't touched my Chris Christensen brushes since. They are a well kept secret by the show people. They cost about half what the CC brushes cost, too. |
Hi Ladymom,I've seen this brushes could you tell me about the tips are they round like Chris Christensen I've been wanting to order one. Thanks |

Thanks. Is there a website that I can order the Madan brushes from? I definitely appreciate affordability :D. |
Cynthia at Lainee, is who I order from, don't know about other sites that may offer the brushes. Madden Brushes for Dogs |
I got my sites mixed up, Cynthia is at dogbows.com and I've ordered brushes from her, as well as bows, etc. I've ordered from Lainee also and they do have the Madden brushes. Dog Bows, Show Dog Bows, Show Dog Leads, Dog Diapers, Yorkie Bows, Piddle Pads, Show Leads, Dog Carriers |

Lainee carries them, but I got mine from a member on another forum who sells them at shows. They are much cheaper from Cindy, only $16 each plus shipping. You can email Cindy at c.fernking@comcast.net |
Thanks!!!Ladymon I'll e-mail her. |
I love my Chris Christensen pin brush and now I'm dying to have a Mason Pearson boar bristle & pin brush. I also use a comb on Rylie's face and pretty much on Lacy all over. The CC pin brush works wonderfully on Rylie's coat, but it doesn't do much for Lacy's..but the Mason Pearson brush worked great on hers too so now I really want one. |
I was going to buy the Maden pin brushes at Lainee but then I saw them in person at a dog show and was so happy I did not order them. It was so rough compared to my gold series CC brush. I can take my CC brush and rub it hard on my skin with no pain and the Maden brush hurts and left scratches...so it is just not for my babies! I have had my CC brush for 3 years now and it is just good as new...I am going to buy another one so I can keep one in my grooming box and the other next to my bed since it seems that is where my girls get their nightly brush outs...lol My friend who has Maltese loves her Maden brush and I do think it is nicer in their thicker coats and maybe for a soft coated yorkie, but I like the gentleness of the CC brush for my yorkies! |
