Peticure Petite or Elite??? Can't decide which would be best for us, could you share your opinions pro and con? |
id be interested too. do you know anyone's who's used it before?im scared to cut my furbaby's nails |
They are the same with one exception: the nail holes in the elite are larger to compensate for trimming bigger dogs nails. For Yorkies the petite is all you need. |
There is a long thread with lots of info on it here: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ave-nails.html I'm just about to order it for my 3 yorkies. |

I have the Petite and it works just great with Yorkie nails. Two friends of mine have Peticures, one has the Elite, the other the Petite. They both say the Petite is much quieter than the Elite model. So, if both do a good job and one is quieter and cheaper than the other.......:D I would choose the Petite. |
i just ordered the petite from the website. when i get it, i'll let you know how it works for us. |
What website is the Petite on ? |
|
We have the petite and just love it. It does not stop on contact with the nail and does quite a good job. I can do the front paws of both my girls myself. Sissy normally required the hubby to swaddle her in a blanket and then hold her down with all his might!!!!! She doesn't scream with this - still doesn't like it, but it is so much easier!!!! |
I have one for sale if interested. :p Peticure Petite Nail Trimmer Plus 15 Bands - eBay (item 250267132498 end time Jul-12-08 14:58:02 PDT) |

After watching the video, it looks like a neat product, but I didn't see any safe guard to keep you from filing into the quick. I will be interested to see how it works. |
It takes like 4-6 weeks to get it but now that I got it, I like it so far. It is very quiet so the dogs are not scared of the noise. If it slows down it is because the battery is running low and you need to recharge it again. |
