Scruffy Puppy I'm looking at pics of other yorkie's and Mufasa has a different type hair than the one's I've seen most of you own. I brush him but he always seems to look like he just rolled up out of bed. Ha! The hair around the bottom of his neck and down his legs just looks like scraggly hair. Am I doing something wrong or will this go away the more hair he grows? He looks like a poor homeless puppy sometimes! HA |

That's what Mufasa is.......a poor homeless looking ball of fluff!!! *L* Will this grow out and look better than it does now or is there something I should be doing to it now? |
So does TJ. His hair is more coarse than either Sandy or Dexter's. I like the expression you used about him looking like he just rolled out of bed. That fits TJ very well. Please let me know if you find out anything that works. |

1 Attachment(s) Pookie's coat isn't curlie, it's straight, but OMG it's so thick... He's only 6 months. I'm wondering if his adult coat will be any thinner? |
Mufasa's has A LOT of body too it, kinda like it's wavy and it's really thick too! |
Groom?? I have an appointment to take Lily to be "groomed" on Tuesday (day after tomorrow). She has had all her shots now and she will be 17 wks. old on Wed. I have bathed her myself and TRY to comb/brush her but she is starting to mat real bad next to her skin so I am going to take her and get her nails cut and get her a "short puppy hair cut" and hopefully after that I can keep her up myself. I don't care about her having a "long coat" and I think the puppy cut is cute anyhow. I am just wondering if I am doing the right thing taking her to get groomed w/mats?? Will they shave her and if so what does that mean? Is that maybe a good thing to get done now and get that puppy fur tamed down or will that make it worse?? THANKS |
