Face comb What do you use to comb your babie's faces? Is there a special face comb or other tool to use to comb near the eyes and nose??? Anna Dog profile for Kiki, a female Yorkshire Terrier |
I use a small metal flea comb. It is great to get those little eye boogies out. |

I had a flea comb in my hand that I saw at Petco and then I put it back thinking there was some fancy comb that I would need. I'll have to go get that one. Thanks. Anna |
I use a human hair comb, they are so cheap and work great. |
1 Attachment(s) I bought several different combs for this purpose; plastic didn't work because one bite and the teeth were ruined. I bought a "mini comb" over the Internet, but the teeth aren't that close together, and it doesn't work that great. I found this one at Walmart, like the others have stated it's just a flea comb, and it works perfectly. |
1 Attachment(s) I used a flea comb in the begining but then brought the CC #000 buttercomb and just love it for the face and feet. Attachment 214458 |
Thanks for the info everyone!! Anna |

I use a soft baby bristle brush and go over it with a flea comb. |
I use a flea comb too. We are in the process of growing out the hairs around Peanut's eyes and nose, is there anything that will help the hair lay down? Right now he looks like a sheep dog. |
I'm having the same problem. I just saw a spray gel for this. Hmmmm now where was it? I'll be back. |
Oh yes, PURE PAWS HOME. There was a great step-by-step for how to do a top knot, etc. there too. Oh, and I use a flea comb. After shampoo I wrap the towel around head and hold under the chin. Then I remove all boogys and comb through whiskers with flea comb. It seems to work better when hair is wet and boogys soft. (Sorry for the ewwww factor here). |

I find that I like the old fashion "people comb".... I usually buy the mult packs and the different sizes for different parts.... works like a charm for me! d |
