CC Ionic I recently bought the Chris Christianson ionic brush. Was wondering if any of you have it and what you think... I love my CC long pin brush (my dear friend surprised me with it once and Mason Pearson) I love the MP brush, It works well on my hair too, lol I was using Vellus and All Systems brushes before I got the CC and Mason Pearson. I still like my older brushes and use them alot but am totally hooked on the MP one. It did feel like Christmas (in case any of you have checked those prices) So my question is basically who has the cc ionic and how do you normally use it? For example is it your finishing brush.... |
by ionic are you referring to the new fusion pin brushes?? I just bought my second CC pin brush.. I had a CC 27mm pin brush and bought a 20mm fusion brush and love it! |

I have one. Yes, it is a finishing brush. You're supposed to only use it on dry and clean hair. For my girls with silkier coats, it makes them look so pretty. It doesn't do a whole lot for my cotton girl. Then again, nothing does. So, if you want a nice, shiny finished look, it's a great brush. |
I bought the CC pin brush that has brass pins which is supposed to have the same ionic effects at the brush you are talking about (ie shine, no static) while being better suited for our breeds coat. I am actually really happy with it :) It makes his hair so shiny and soft with none of the static that some other brushes leave behind (especially with how much brushing we do before/during our time in the ring. When I asked the CC rep about the brush in your pic she said that it wasnt something that was appropriate for a long and silky coated dog. Instead she upsold me by selling me the mini slicker brush for the feet and being the sucker I am I couldnt resist :D It does make his feet look like he was groomed by a pro handler so its a win-win situation. |
