Eye Care can anyone give me the name of a good product to get rid of that ugly eye stains. |
I switched my girls to distilled water and it helped with the staining on Pixie's face. I would say by about 80%. It doesn't work for everyone but is sure helped her. |
hmm, distilled water . May be i'll try that and see what happens. she is going to the vet on sat ,maybe I'll ask the vet and see what he recommends. |
Usually people use Angel Eyes for this. I don't like it though because it is a low grade antibiotic and can falsely elevate ALTs. The distilled water does work for some. Have you tried just cleaning them out with eye wash (just the sterile water kind not contact solution)? It won't get rid of all the staying but it won't hurt either. |
Something that really helped for us was keeping the hair around Franklin's eyes trimmed. I'm not sure what your grooming hopes are, but if you're not too picky.. that might help. Otherwise, I don't know! We just clean Franklin's face every day - it helps if you get it out before it has time to harden and/or rot the hair. |
ive been cleaning by my dogs eyes everyday with a cotton ball dipped in some water. it takes like 2 minutes. someone here suggested it... it gets the eye gook right out, before it has a chance to stain! |
