puppy hair Here's a question for ya'll. When yorkie puppies coats change over, do they just grow out and become silky, or does the puppy coat shed and grows in silky. I combed pepper today and had a couple of clumps in the brush, maybe the brothers have been playing to hard with her. not sure whats up, she is 15 weeks old. |
Puppy fur comes out with brushing. When the color breaks along their backs...you'll see roots which gradually grows out. |
re: puppy hair Good to know. I hoped I hadn't done something wrong. Another question, after bathing I hear some people put an oil on their dogs coat, what about biosilk, silk therapy?? Would It help seal the cuticle like it does on our hair and protect it from heat damage during drying?? |
I don't put any type of oil on my dog's hair. Their coats are kept short so I rarely even use any type of conditioner. They both hate the blow dryer torture thing....so most times I don't even dry them all the way with it. I use a warm setting instead of hot when I do though. |
re puppy hair unfortunatly its about 20 degrees here with a 15 mph wind at this time, It never fails after I finish her bath and attempt to let her air dry, she has to go outside to pee. Just my luck |
