Does anyone use a dremel? I file Layla's nails but boy i'm spending a fortune in nail files (gotta get the good ones with a high grit count) so i was thinking about ordering a dremel from petedge. does anyone use one?? are they easy to use??? was your pup upset byt the noise at first??? Layla will only sit still for SO long (understandable) and i just don't think i'm doing a good enough job... they are getting too long... any input is great! thanks! *oh i do my own grooming which is why it's not getting done at the groomers* |
I've used a nail dremmel for Lacy. I like it because she has such long quicks. Lacy is REALLY bad for her nails (doesn't bite but struggles a LOT) so I usually hold her while someone uses the dremmel |
I don't use a "dremel: but a cheap knock off from walmart for $10. I love it because it doesn't have a very high RPM like areal dremel does so it's easier to use on the babies. They are actually really good with it. they are better with me grinding their nails than getting the clippers out. |

It is not a pet one, and has no guard but their hair hasn't been caught in it and I haven't had any problems either. I found it right around christmas, they had this small "dremel" with a case and some tips to chage out for $10. I bought it and it works great so far. It's not the best made tool, you can tell why it is only 10 but it works great for what I need it for. |
Thanks altigger. Guess I'll have to look in the store. The only one listed on the website is $24.97. |

I have it and Love it! |
Is this the one that is on a four week backorder and having battery issues? |
A friend of mine that shows all types of breeds swears by this, he says it is the easiest and quickest way to do their nails. i personally have not tried it though. |
