Does this sound like a reasonable price for grooming? Remember, I live in the SF Bay Area (one of the most $$$ parts of the country!).

Yes, it sounds reasonable to me. I live in Waco, TX and we have a relatively low cost of living here. I just paid $28 + $7 tip for a groom last week.

Depends on what that includes. To get Riley groomed, its $38. That includes haircut, nail trimming, ear cleaning, shampoo, conditioner, cologne and bow. I'm in Chicago though. That is also a private groomer.

Yes, that sounds like a reasonable price to me. I live in the Sacramento area, and when we used to get Belle groomed at Petsmart, we paid $50 for a full service groom.

We found a new and wonderful groomer for Ariel, and we paid $30 for her first cut. Belle hasn't gone to the new groomer yet, but when she does, I expect it to be around $50-$60.

That is about the same as I pay for Bunny's grooming.:) :) :)

For a wash and nail trim and butt trim, I pay $25 plus tip. I just got Gracie cut short with the bath, nails etc. and that runs $55 with the tip.

I pay about $35 in Kalamazoo, MI at petsmart.

I also live in the bay area.:) I think $45 is reasonable price. I paid about $50 to get my yorkie groomed.

When we go to the groomers it's about $40, with a $5 tip ;)

That is reasonable, where I am it is $80 for a bath/cut.

i pay $ 50 for grooming..i think it sounds right..might even be a deal for the bay area..:D

Sounds about right to me. The one and only time I went to have Stedman groomed (I groom him myself now) it was either $42 or $43 (same thing LOL). That was at Petamrt though :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown I don't recommend them by the way :rolleyes:

When I used to take my Cocker Spaniel to be groomed, years ago (this was back before I started grooming her myself), I only paid about $35 - this was at a locally owned grooming shop.

$45 is the going price here in the midwest too!
